I went back to the chocolate place yesterday and didnt eat anything (more down to being sick rather than disciplined).
I had homemade pizza yesterday and it was adequate.
I ended up making a rice – less and noodle – less chicken stiry fry for dinner last night, which was (a) only 3 points, and (b) extremely satisfying. Reall easy as well. 140g chicken breast (about half a standard skin off breast) – 2 points. Assorted stiry fry vegies (broc. carrot, beans, zucchini, squash, etc) – 0 points. A special, patent pending mix of light soy sauce, sesame oil, and hoisin sauce – 1 point. Yum.
Interestingly, on Wednesday night we had pasta (2.5 points for 60 g dry), together with a massive point free tomato based vegetable sauce. If we had had a bottle of red wine handy, we would have added in two glasses to thicken and enrichen the sauce, making another very satisfying 3.5 point meal. As it was we had a not so rich very satisfying 2.5 point meal.
Something Maria said about trying to have big low point meals at the end of the day resonated with me. After bashing my head against a church bell for a while, the ringing stopped.
This page is now black to protest the Australian Government's decision to censor the Internet. Censorship is possibly the most un-Australian act of all. Please write or call your local member and senators immediately to express your displeasure. Go to rallies. Twitter #nocleanfeed regularly. Blog. Facebook. Support the EFA. Vote for anyone but Labor. We must defeat this evil bill for our children's sake. Most of all - mass civil disobedience is vital.
